ALTONA DEVELOPMENT – WORCESTER
Altona is primarily a residential development in Worcester and consists of 1970 residential opportunities, a service station site, 4Ha of commercial land, three institutional erven for churches, schools, etc. and a 200Ha private nature reserve.
A substantial portion of this large “township” has been serviced and the first houses have been sold with outside developers having bought individual erven which is in the process of being developed.
This new contemporary development in Worcester is due to become the new “address” in town and is attracting many upcountry buyers.
FISANTEKRAAL INDUSTRIAL PRECINT
Capitol Commercial Properties have been closely linked to this fast growing industrial node and Pieter van der Westhuysen has personally invested in two developments in this precinct. Transfers on the first 5,4Ha site have already taken place and marketing of the next 8,6Ha site will commence soon. 26 Individual erven ranging from 1043m² to 2,6Ha in size are planned in this development and Capitol Commercial Properties will have a sole mandate to sell these prime erven.
These two developments in Fisantekraal are good examples of Capitol Commercial Properties partnering with selected developers, either on a shareholding basis or purely as marketers, with the view to maximise financial returns for all involved.
DEO VOLENTE COMPLEX, BLOEMHOF, BELVILLE
Pieter van der Westhuysen and Pieter-Jozua Erasmus, together with an outside developer, purchased a 4000m² portion of land off Bill Bezuidenhout Drive in the Tyger Valley area.
The land was rezoned to accommodate 11 plot-and-plan townhouses measuring approximately 160m² each. The houses were quickly sold off plan and constructed by Buildevco during 2006.
CORNERSTONE APARTMENTS – TYGER WATERFRONT
Pieter van der Westhuysen and Pieter-Jozua Erasmus were on the development team of a 48-apartment complex developed in the Tyger Waterfront precinct. The building features 2 levels of structured parking with the 6 apartment levels above. The building was designed by MLH Architects and constructed by Stocks & Stocks during 2005.
The modern kitchens, featuring tables that can serve as both a kitchen counter or a dining room table, were designed by Source Interior Architects. To this day, Cornerstone is a popular destination for owners and tenants wishing to live in the dynamic Tyger Waterfront hub.
